The House Judiciary Committee vote that was first set for last week, and then set for Wednesday, has been delayed again. All of the immigration bills that were supposed to be up for consideration were not acted upon, as the HJC was bogged down debating amendments on earlier legislation.

The HJC may still take up the vote in the near future, however the opportunity grows dimmer. Congress is eyeing September 26 as the last working day before the November election.
