Nora Anderson
Nora Margaret Anderson is an associate in the Cincinnati office. Prior to joining Hammond Neal Moore, Nora worked as a law clerk in a firm which represented start-up businesses, many of which were founded by foreign-born, U.S.-educated entrepreneurs.
Currently, Nora works primarily with healthcare clients in obtaining nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, TN) as well as immigrant visas (EB-2 and EB-3) for both onshore employees and offshore candidates. Her area of focus is with the “Schedule A” professions of physical therapists and professional nurses, but she also handles cases with occupational therapists, medical technologists, and other allied healthcare professionals. She also occasionally works with non-healthcare clients on L-1A visas for managers and executives, F-1 Student Optional Practical Training compliance, Department of Labor audits, and I-9 issues.
Nora often travels to I-485 interviews across the country—from major cities to small border towns, she enjoys working with employment-based permanent residency applicants and their families as they finish their years-long journey towards the coveted “green card”.
