Good news for NPTE test-takers seeking a B visa from Manila 03/29/11
The Department of State, Advisory Opinion office has informed us that they will be issuing interim guidance to the US Consulate in Manila to correct the misinterpretation of the licensure regulations that was leading the US Consulate in Manila to deny B visas for physical therapists seeking entry to the U.S. to take the NPTE in May. We expect the US Consulate in Manila to begin processing of B visa applicants under the corrrect legal policy immediately. A special thanks to the Advisory Opinion office, USCIS HQ personnel, the AAIHR, and others who worked hard to correct this error.
