Conrad 30 Extension signed into law by Obama 10/06/09

Written by: admin | Contact the author

As we reported earlier this summer, the House and Senate passed a joint resolution to extend specific immigration programs including the Conrad 30 program which allows individual states to recommend a waiver of a foreign physician’s 2-year home residence requirement if the physician is willing to work in a healthcare shortage area within the state.

President Obama signed this bill into law on 09/24/2009 and thus the ability of foreign physicians to seek waivers of their visa requirements is secured for an additional three years.

VISA BULLETIN NOVEMBER 2009

01JUN02 PHILIPPINES

E. EMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILITY

The receipt of demand from Citizenship and Immigration Services Offices

has far exceeded

their earlier indications of cases eligible for immediate processing. As a result,

it has been necessary to hold most of the Employment cut-off dates for November.

At this time, it is not possible to provide any estimates regarding future cut-off date movements.

Hi Danilo

Cutiepie is right, everytime you posted the VB you didnt show any concern but instead it was more of insult.

If you cannot says something nice just dont say something at all. Just remember people here in blog are strong person and with great conviction in life, and you will never put them down.

Mr Danilo, every wealth you have can lost in one seconds even your life, if we are wasting our money, time and we are not earning that much because we are waiting to fulfill our dreams but we are still happy of the choice we make so in this case what do you think is more important now?

Here in Kuwait everybody is wating for lifting of Retrogration, Including me…. Now the Kuwait MOH is hiked the salary for Nursing sataff, still we don,t want to stay here. One Mr Kuttan who wrote the comments on IKK Forum, he publisd it for somebody else from Saudi. So don't belive this story's. No US experianced nureses working here in KWT MOH.

When there's a tidal wave or tsunami or twister…….a peaceful world always follow…

When there's the darkest night in our lives, the break of the new dawn comes in its sweetest smile…

In an organization, no one is indispensable… so with Mr Wexler. In his resignation, everything does not follow in the grave.

Mr Wexler is just a minute advocate of those millions who needs the quality nursing care.
And those millions moans until they are heard.

Now, keep cool, don't be too hot, and no rush………
All we have to do is be ready and be real ready……practise and practise your skills, for when our time comes…we will not be looking back to a wasted time.

Focus 99% of your time enjoying in whatever job you are in (hopefully in a hospital nursing service), and find 1% in sometimes dreaming about the prospect of a beautiful haven……….

Ya, before I forget, it is right to say "do not republish the VB" for that will be a waste of time and space" a publisher's self-insult! Sorry, sometimes we need to inject painful words just to ensure students learn…just like me too.

God bless us all!

CJ
